NVIDIA basically wants to give that same internal monologue to an entire factory floor.

At GTC Taipei, Jensen Huang unveiled the NVIDIA Factory Operations Blueprint (FOX) and NemoClaw. These aren't just software updates; they are a digital lobotomy for the industrial world, replacing rigid automation with "agentic" AI that can think, reason, and—most importantly—manage itself.

The Manager: Meet FOX

If a factory is a body, FOX is the prefrontal cortex. It’s a reference design for an "autonomous factory manager agent" that sits above the assembly line, watching every sensor, machine signal, and quality alert in real-time.

Instead of a human supervisor squinting at a dashboard, FOX orchestrates a fleet of specialized agents. It handles everything from worker safety to material transport, running on the new DGX Station powered by the GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra superchip. We're talking 20 petaflops of performance just to make sure the robots don't trip over each other.

Foxconn is already the star pupil here. They’ve deployed something called MoMClaw (which sounds like a robotic mother-in-law but is actually a "manufacturing operations multi-agent system"). They’re projecting an 80% improvement in root cause analysis time. That’s the difference between a production line stopping for a day and a system fixing itself before the human foreman even finishes his coffee.

The Engineer: NemoClaw

While FOX manages the floor, NemoClaw is the guy in the back office with the master’s degree. It’s an open blueprint for "autonomous AI engineers" that can handle the gritty work of computer-aided design (CAD) and simulations.

Previously, running a thermal simulation for a new laptop or a jet engine could take weeks of manual setup, meshing, and debugging. NemoClaw compresses that into hours. Software giants like Siemens, Synopsys, and Cadence are already plugging this into their workflows to automate the boring stuff.

To keep things from going full Skynet, NVIDIA included OpenShell, a secure runtime that acts as a digital bouncer. It governs exactly which files and networks these AI agents can touch, ensuring your autonomous engineer doesn't accidentally email the blueprints for your next GPU to a competitor.

The Macro Reality
